  • Wire hanger — Wire hangers can help you reach into the toilet without touching to free up stubborn clogs. Simply bend the hanger and work it into the bowl much like you would a drain snake.
  • Baking soda & vinegar — Add a cup of baking soda to the toilet bowl and then pour in a cup of vinegar. Pour the vinegar slowly to avoid spilling or overflow. Wait 20 minutes to let the chemical reaction occur.
  • Epsom salts & bath bombs — Similar to baking soda & vinegar, adding Epsom salts and bath bombs can help to move a clog. Place in the bowl and allow the fizzy reaction to work on the blockage.

  • Wet/Dry Vacuum — As a last resort, you can use a wet/dry vacuum to remove water. Then, you can use an old rag to create a seal on the vacuum and then clear away the blockage. Make sure to wear gloves.
