Additionally, some kitchen sinks may also include lines for a garbage disposal or a dishwasher. When investigating the source of the leak, keep in mind that water can run down a pipe and drip, meaning the location where you’ve spotted dripping water is not necessarily where the leak itself is.
  2. Tighten Connections: Using a wrench, ensure that all connections are tight, especially where you’ve found the leak. Over time, pipe connections can become loose and worn, and if tightening doesn’t solve the problem, you may need to replace a segment of the leaky pipe.
  3. Wrap Your Pipe’s Threads: You could also try turning of your home’s water supply, running the sink faucet until it stops, then turning the faucet off. Afterward, detach the leaking pipe and wrap the threads with plumber’s tape, then reattach and turn the water back on.
