I work for a management company in St Augustine. Saturday around 4-5 pm we had an issue at one of our properties. Our normal local vendor was not available. I contacted no less than 8 plumbers who say they have emergency service and none would come out. I couldn’t believe that as again it was still fairly early, it wasn’t like it was 1 am. The next on the google list was Benjamin Franklin plumbing. The person who answered was friendly and very helpful. They worked with their dispatch to make sure someone would be out. They explained it would not be for a few hours but someone would be out. I got a call around 8:30 from Chris the tech who would be coming. He told me he was on his way and what time he would be there. Chris arrived right when he said he would. I must say Chris was fantastic. This is an older property in the heart of downtown, so things were not easy. Chris worked through everything and resolved the issue. I can’t say enough great things about Chris and the entire experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. From now on, they will be my first call when I need a plumbing vendor.

Ray was honest and up-front about the work. We had an older tankless water heater and after going through some checks, he recommended that our unit was working fine and we did not need to do the service that was originally requested. He saved us a few bucks but I was more impressed that he did not push for a sale when one was not needed.

I was so impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the technician. He was so efficient with his work and helped us make the right decision for our plumbing needs. We would definitely recommend Benjamin Franklin plumbing of Plymouth Canton and their wonderful technician Matthew.!

Great experience. They came out timely, walked us through the problems we were having, and then talked through various options and estimates. Our plumber, Zack, was patient and professional as we asked so many questions. I also appreciate that the service fee gets absorbed into the final price if you move forward with them. Not all places do that.

Tim was very helpful and quickly diagnosed our issue. We have more work to be done and hopefully tim will be involved with that work as well. This is our 3rd time using benjamin Franklin plumbing and was never disappointed.

Did a great job of fixing a water leak caused by an other contractor and needing to replace pipes and valves. Had to have the water company come out to turn off and on the water from outside and let them know it was an emergency. Came out within minutes. Thanks Patrick!

On 10/27/2025 Josh and Carson did a great job for us. The shower controls in Master Bath were faulty and required a complete replacement. This required a good bit of work. While Josh worked on the shower, Carson replaced two sink faucets. At the completion Josh pointed out a piece was missing in the shower, said everything would work, and would be back on Wednesday to finish. On 10/29/2025 Josh returned and finished up the job and even put a second screw in the shower head holder. Josh and Carson were efficient and professional. I consider them to be my plumbing specialists.
To keep your water heater running smoothly in NWA, it’s a good idea to flush the tank once a year to clear out sediment, especially if your area has hard water. Check the pressure relief valve, inspect for rust or leaks, and make sure the thermostat is set to a safe temperature (usually around 120°F). Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your unit and keeps your hot water flowing efficiently. For peace of mind, consider scheduling a professional inspection with a local plumber.
If your water pressure suddenly drops or only affects certain fixtures in your NWA home, it could be a sign of a clogged pipe, leak, or a problem with your water supply. Try cleaning faucet aerators first, but if the issue persists, it’s best to call a licensed plumber in NWA to diagnose and fix the problem before it gets worse.
